TradingView NSE Data Delayed: Best Alternatives in India

TradingView has not ended its free plan.

The important change for Indian users is market data. TradingView currently lists NSE free data as 15 minutes delayed. Its market-data page also lists NSE real-time data at $0 for non-professional users, but TradingView says an active paid plan or trial is required before subscribing to real-time market data.

So if you use the standalone free TradingView website for intraday NSE charts, the delay is now a real problem.

If you use TradingView-powered charts inside a broker, the situation is much better because the broker can provide its own live exchange feed.

Which one should you use?

If you want something closest to TradingView, start with Dhan, FYERS, Zerodha, Upstox or Angel One.

If you want advanced independent charting, look at GoCharting.

If you mainly scan stocks, use Chartink or StockEdge.

If you research fundamentals, Tickertape is more useful.

If you trade options, Sensibull is far more useful than a normal stock chart.

If you only want to verify the live market price, use your broker or NSE India.

The key point is simple: do not pay for another platform before checking whether your existing broker already gives you live TradingView-powered charts.

What exactly changed on TradingView?

TradingView currently lists NSE as:

  • Free data: 15-minute delayed
  • Real-time NSE data fee for non-professionals: $0
  • But an active TradingView plan or trial is required before adding real-time market data

TradingView also supports real-time data verification through certain broker integrations.

Therefore, saying “TradingView has completely ended free service” would be wrong.

A more accurate statement is:

TradingView's free standalone NSE experience is now delayed, while live data remains available through eligible TradingView plans, supported broker connections and broker-based TradingView charts.
